In each of these groups, which of these is not like the other?

Turkey, stuffing, yams, and cranberries

Parade, football, shopping, and breakfast

That’s right friends, it’s time for a good old fashioned Sesame Street quiz! If you’re brand new to this podcast and have no idea what we’re talking about, don’t worry, it will all make sense when you hear the episode.

Since this episode is airing on Thanksgiving, we wanted to give you something of value but also entertaining! Sesame Street quizzes are one of our favorite ways to creatively give formative assessments to your students.

We also have a masterclass that we would love to share with you! It’s totally free to watch and it covers the ins and outs of using a Sesame Street Quiz. You’ll learn how to do it and the philosophy behind it, as well as two other kinds of formative assessments.

We firmly believe that these types of assessments will totally shift your evaluation of students so that it is reflective of your their critical thinking, and not just their comprehension and recall.
